Kofi Kinaata Is The Only Artiste With The Highlife Identity In His Song – Gyedu Blay Ambolley

Ghanaian Veteran musician, Gyedu Blay Ambolley has noted that Ghanaian singer, Kofi Kinaata is the only musician who is currently preserving the local genre Highlife.

According to him, the Takoradi base singer is the only artiste having the Ghanaian identity registered in his songs.

In an interview on Joy Prime TV, the legendary Highlife musician explained that the big music stars in the country, Stonebwoy, and Shatta Wale have no identity as far as music is concerned.

He indicated that despite Kofi Kinaata is doing well by getting the identity he needs to work hard to make his identity clearer in his works.

As Gyedu Blay Ambolley said, Kofi Kinaata is one of the good singers whose songs are well written and you could feel the real touch of a create song.
