"I EMPLOY MORE THAN 10 PEOPLE TO WORK FOR ME", STONEBWOY URGES GOVERNMENT TO INVEST IN CREATIVE ARTS

The government of Ghana led by the Vice-President Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia has launched the Youth Employment Agency job center portal to help reduce the issue of unemployment in the country.

Unemployment has been a matter of concern for the majority of Ghanaians and it’s now even worse due to the closedown of some banks by the Bank of Ghana.

The Bhim nation boss, Stonebwoy who was at the launch of the Job Center during his short speech applauded the government for the portal which was made to find jobs for people in all sectors from skilled to unskilled.

“There is so much job to be made around the creative arts, me as an artiste I can count not less than 10 people who are employed around me just to keep me running devoid of the production, managerial etc, these ones creates opportunity for people to put money in our pockets, people print my T- Shirts in the North,West and East, People create fun base and they sell my stuff to make a living and I do no go attacking them beacuse this is what we can also do indirectly, so we will urge goverment to look at creative arts beyond the artisan because it also creates employment for people”

He went on to say that the government should also look at the entertainment sector because there are more jobs there from production to managerial and looking for people to fill those spaces

The “Ololo” hitmaker further asked that Ghanaians stop reading politics into the newly created portal because irrespective of one’s political colors or affiliation, this is for Ghanaians and Ghanaians must make it work.
