Angélique Kidjo wins the Grammys Global Music Album Award for the fourth time

Angelique Kidjo won Global Music Album for the fourth time at the 2022 Grammy Awards.

 Beating the competition from Ghana’s Rocky Dawuni with Voice of Bunbon Vol. 1., Daniel Ho and Friends with East West Players Presents: Daniel Ho and Friends Live in Concert, Wizkid with Made in Lagos: Deluxe Edition and Femi Kuti, Made Kuti with Legacy+.

 Her album Mother Nature, released on June 18, 2021, brings together Yemi Alade, Mr Eazi, Salif Keita, Burna Boy, Shungudzo, Zeynab, Lionel Loueke, Sampa The Great, Blue Lab Beats, Ghetto Boy and EARTHGANG.

 Angélique Kidjo, a Benino-American musician, has won the award several times, receiving it in 2015, 2016, 2020 and 2022.
