Parliamentary Committee engages TCDA leadership to deepen support for Tree Crops Development

Today, the Chief Executive Officer of the Tree Crops Development Authority (TCDA), Dr. Andy Osei Okrah, together with the leadership of the Authority, had the honour of welcoming members of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Food, Agriculture and Cocoa Affairs to the TCDA Office in Accra.
The visit provided an opportunity for the Committee to familiarize themselves with TCDA’s operations, strategic vision, and mandate. It also served as a platform to discuss key challenges and identify areas where the Committee could offer support to ensure the Authority’s continued progress.

Through a series of detailed presentations and interactive engagements, Dr. Andy Osei Okrah highlighted the various strategies TCDA has put in place to enhance operational efficiency and deliver national impact through the development of the six selected tree crops.
The Committee, in turn, pledged their full support to the Authority, committing to initiatives such as capacity-building workshops and other collaborative efforts aimed at strengthening TCDA and empowering all value chain actors across the tree crops sector.
Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient agricultural future for Ghana.
