The Axim Divisional Police Command has arrested three suspected armed robbers following an intelligence-led operation carried out earlier today at a hideout in Axim.
The suspects have been identified as Emmanuel Arthur, alias “Possible,” age 21; Elisha Arthur, alias “Sconzy,” age 21; and David Agyarko, also known as “Big Man,” age 22.
According to a press release, released by the Public Affairs Unit of the Regional Police Headquarters in Sekondi and signed by Superintendent Olivia E.T. Adiku, Head of the Public Affairs Unit for the Western Region, the suspects are believed to be connected to a series of robbery incidents within the Tarkwa Nsuaem area of the Western Region.
Police indicate that the three men have since been transferred to the Western Central Police Command for further investigations.
