President grants pardon to Sammy Gyamfi following apology in Agradaa dollar gift controversy

The Presidency has officially granted a pardon to the Acting Chief Executive Officer of GoldBod, Samuel Gyamfi—widely known as Sammy Gyamfi—following a high-level meeting with senior government officials concerning his role in the controversial dollar gift to social media personality Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Agradaa.

Presidential spokesperson, Mr. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, confirmed that Mr. Gyamfi’s public apology has been accepted.

Mr. Kwakye Ofosu added that the President has cautioned Mr. Gyamfi to conduct himself with greater restraint going forward.

“The President acknowledges Mr. Gyamfi’s remorse and has advised him to exercise more discretion in the future,” he stated.
