Ghanaian music sensation Black Sherif has earned a nomination for Best International Act at the 2025 BET Awards, marking a major milestone in his fast-rising career.

The artist behind hits like Second Sermon and Kwaku The Traveller will go head-to-head with an impressive lineup of global stars, including Tyla (South Africa), Rema and Ayra Starr (Nigeria), Any Gabrielly and Luanna (Brazil), Basky and Ezra Collective (UK), Uncle Waffles (Eswatini), as well as Joé Dwèt Filé and SDM (France).

Past Ghanaian stars recognized at the BET Awards include Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Kwesi Arthur, Camidoh, R2Bees, MzVee, D Black, Fuse ODG, and Kojo Antwi.

The 2025 BET Awards will honour excellence in music, entertainment, and culture across the global Black diaspora, with the ceremony set to capture worldwide attention.
