Eradicating Malaria: Bliss GVS Pharma donates antimalarial drugs to Regional Medical Stores

Bliss GVS, a pharmaceutical company, has donated anti-malaria drugs worth 125,000 cedis to the Regional Medical Stores in Takoradi.
The donations also fall in line with the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
It’s nonetheless part of the actions to make Africa a malaria-free continent.
Speaking on behalf of the company, Bliss GVS Pharma Ghana representative Justice Yalley expressed the company’s commitment to supporting the Ghanaian health sector with quality drugs.

“We do donations around the country, major hospitals, medical stores. We even do patient education programs and then visit higher technical institutions and tertiary institutions to do education. This forms part of our motto, ACT Africa, making Africa a malaria-free continent,”
“So we have Lonart DS, our popular brand, also known as Artimether Infantium, P. Alaxin, bromolones, eye medication, and others, which are antibiotics,”
“And this being the regional medical store, we have clients such as our hospitals, private and public hospitals, who come and procure from here.”
Mr. Daniel Bomfey, the Western Regional Health Promotion Manager, who received the medicines on behalf of the institution, said the donation is timely and will contribute to long-term assistance for malaria eradication efforts in the afflicted areas.

“We see it as a very great support to the region. You know, health is big, and from time memorial, we’ll be fighting malaria. We are still in 2025, still fighting it, but it is our hope to even eradicate it. So we are still on course to fight the disease. So once we are getting support from stakeholders, then it means, together, we can fight the disease.
Yes. So we see this as a very great support, which is going to be very, very beneficial to Western origin. It’s a very great support that we appreciate. And like Oliver Twist, we’ll always ask for more. A donation that is worth around 125,000 is worth appreciation.
