Asantehene to reengage in efforts to resolve Bawku dispute

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, is set to resume mediation efforts in the Bawku chieftaincy conflict from April 28 to May 1, following a mutual agreement among all parties involved.
A statement issued by the Manhyia Palace has called for the full cooperation of all stakeholders to support efforts toward a lasting resolution to the crisis.
The Asantehene, who is currently out of the country, is expected to return to Ghana shortly to facilitate the continuation of the peace process.
