Western Regional House of Chiefs laud President Mahama for appointing Adjobah Blay to lead Ghana Gas

The Western Regional House of Chiefs have lauded President John Dramani Mahama for appointing Judith Adjobah Blay as the acting Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Gas.
As part of engaging key stakeholders in the Western Region, the newly appointed Ghana Gas CEO embarked on a three-day familiarization tour of the region.
Her first stop was a courtesy call to the House of Chiefs where she reaffirmed her commitment to foster strong collaboration between Ghana Gas and traditional leaders in the region.
She expressed gratitude for the warm reception and assured the chiefs of regular engagement.
“I recognize the importance of working closely with traditional leaders to ensure that Ghana Gas contributes meaningfully to the development of the region. I will meet with the House of Chiefs twice a year to discuss progress and address concerns,” she stated.
In response, the President of the Western Regional House of Chiefs, Nana Kobina NKetia V lauded President Mahama for appointing Ms. Adjobah Blay to the lead Ghana Gas, stating her leadership will strengthen the relationship between the company and residents of the region.
“We are pleased to see one of our own entrusted with such a critical national institution. We believe her leadership will strengthen the relationship between Ghana Gas and the people of the Western Region,” said Nana Kobina Nketsia V, President of the Western Regional House of Chiefs.
Accompanied by some management members of Ghana Gas, Ms. Adjobah Blay also paid a working visit to the Western Regional Minister, Joseph Nelson assuring him of the company’s continuous support for regional development.
The Regional Minister expressed high hopes in her appointment, stating it will foster strong collaboration between the company and the region to drive transformational development.
