President Mahama nominates 71 new District Chief Executives for approval

President John Mahama has nominated 71 new District Chief Executives (DCEs) to serve across the country, subject to approval by local Assembly members.

The nominations were outlined in an official statement signed by the Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama, and sent to the Minister of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs.

While the majority of districts have their nominees, the Kpando district nomination is still pending.

Once approved by the Assembly, the newly nominated executives will play a key role in local governance.
