Patrice Motsepe re-elected as CAF President
Renowned football administrator, Dr. Patrice Motsepe has been re-elected as the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The South African billionaire businessman has been handed the enviable position at the CAF’s Presidential Election and 14th Extraordinary General Assembly currently ongoing in Egypt capital, Cairo.
Dr. Motsepe went un-opposed and has been given another four-year term to lead the continent’s football federation to higher heights.
He was first elected as CAF President on March 12, 2021 after all four other candidates had withdrawn their candidacies.
Dr. Motsepe is the owner of South African club, Mamelodi Sundowns with his son, Thlopie Motsepe currently running the club as the chairman.
