Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, has stated that the 2025 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the Government of Ghana serves as the foundation for building a more resilient and equitable society.
In his presentation of the 2025 Budget on the floor of Parliament on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, Dr. Forson emphasized that this first budget, presented on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama, is not just a collection of figures but a comprehensive blueprint for growth, stability, and opportunity.
He expressed confidence that with unity and determination, the government can restore trust in the nation’s economy, drive innovation, and improve the lives of all Ghanaians.
He said, “Mr. Speaker, on behalf of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama, I invite this august House to join hands as we work to build the Ghana we want together,”
