Highway overpass collapse in South Korea kills 4

At least four construction workers lost their lives, and six others sustained injuries when a highway overpass collapsed in South Korea on Tuesday morning, an official informed CNN.
Among the deceased were two Chinese nationals.
According to an official from the Ansan fire department, five of the injured suffered severe wounds in the accident, which occurred in Cheonan, south of Seoul.
The extensive road network remains under construction, and no passenger vehicles were present at the site when the collapse took place.
Acting Interior and Safety Minister Koh Ki-dong issued an urgent directive for emergency responders to “mobilize all available equipment and personnel for rescue efforts, while ensuring the safety of firefighters,” as stated in a ministry press release.
