Hollistar Duah-Yentumi officially hands over to Agyenim-Boateng

President John Dramani Mahama announced the appointment of James Agyenim-Boateng on January 27, 2025.

However, Duah-Yentumi challenged the decision, filing a lawsuit on February 4, 2025, claiming that her four-year tenure, which was set to end in 2028, had been unlawfully terminated.

“Under and under the agreement, the Plaintiff’s tenure as Managing Director is for four years, expiring on the 1st day of January 2028 or soon thereafter as may be agreed upon by the Board of Directors of the 1st Defendant and the Plaintiff,” her lawsuit stated.

She initially sought full payment of her salary and benefits for the remainder of her contract.

However, just days later, Madam Duah-Yentumi withdrew the lawsuit, paving the way for a seamless leadership transition at SIC Insurance PLC.

During a ceremony at the company’s Head Office in Accra, she highlighted SIC Insurance PLC’s impressive financial performance in 2024, reporting a revenue of GH¢513 million, a 37.48% increase from the previous year’s GH¢373 million.
