Nana Adu-Gyamfi to contest for Council of State election

Nana Adu Gyamfi is among the contestants from the Western region vying to be elected into the Council of State.

The Electoral Commission is scheduled to conduct an election to appoint members of the Council of States on Tuesday, 11th February 2025, at all regional capitals.

Nana Adu Gyamfi is an astute businessman with a wealth of experience in business development and hospitality.

He holds a Diploma in Hospitality Management from the Hague Toel School ( Netherlands) and a Certificate in Executive Management from the University of Ghana, School of Administration.

He also has over 50 years in the hospitality industry.

Additionally, Nana Adu-Gyamfi has played a significant role in the National Democratic Congress, and he currently serves as the Chairman of the NDC Council of Elders in the Western Region.

He previously served as Chairman and Managing Director of Ahenfie Hotel Ltd. and Managing Director of Tamso Lodge Ltd., overseeing business transformation, financial stability, and service excellence. As President of the Ghana Hoteliers Association (Western Region), he advocated for policy reforms, capacity-building initiatives, and industry-wide improvements, positioning the hospitality sector for sustainable growth

NDC Leadership & Political Engagement
In governance, Nana Adu-Gyamfi has played a significant role in the National Democratic Congress (NDC). He currently serves as Chairman of the NDC Council of Elders (Western Region), where he provides strategic counsel, fosters unity, and guides policy discussions.
