Sam George, Ablakwa and others to undergo vetting today
The Appointments Committee of Parliament has scheduled to vet eight ministerial nominees including Sam George and Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa today, January 30, 2025.
The committee will vet Samuel Nartey George, MP and Minister-Designate for the Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations;
Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, MP and Minister-Designate for the Ministry of Environment, Science, and Technology;
Kofi Iddie Adams, MP and Minister-Designate for the Ministry of Sports and Recreation;
Abdul-Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, MP and Minister-Designate for the Ministry of Labor, Jobs, and Employment.
At 12:30pm, the committee will resume the vetting process. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, MP and Minister-Designate for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at 12:30pm before Joseph Bukari Nikpe, MP and Minister-Designate for the Ministry of Transport at 1:30pm before Issifu Seidu, MP and Minister of State for Climate Change and Sustainability at 2:30pm.
The final candidate for the day will be Mrs. Charity Gardiner, Minister-Designate for the Ahafo Region whose vetting session will be held at 3:30PM.
