Founded by CEO Kwame Adu-Mante, Focus 1 Group’s story began in 2003. As a construction student, Kwame was already juggling multiple ventures, including building drains in Kumasi and selling goods in the market.

His entrepreneurial spirit and passion for radio also led him to work part-time at noble radio station Skyy power FM in Takoradi while schooling at Takoradi Technical University.

The company’s media arm, Focus 1 Media, was born in 2007 when Kwame Adu-Mante, then just 27 years old, took on the challenge of managing a Takoradi-based radio station called Radio Max. This marked the beginning of Focus One Media’s remarkable journey.

Today, Focus 1 Media boasts of an impressive portfolio, including Spice FM, Pluzz FM in Accra, and Orange FM in Kumasi. The company’s dedicated team, led by General Manager Kojo AmoakoNzoley, has been instrumental in driving its success.
