Kurt Okraku cleared to contest in CAF ExCo election

The President of Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku has announced his clearance to contest for a seat in the CAF Executive Committee election.

He made the announcement via his Facebook page, confirming he has passed the mandatory CAF integrity test.

“Thrilled to share that I have been cleared to contest for a place on the Executive Committee of CAF, after successfully passing the integrity test. Excited for what lies ahead. May God guide us through this journey!”

Okraku, who is contesting unopposed on the ticket of the West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU B), could become a member of the CAF Executive Committee during the Elective Congress scheduled for March 12, 2025, in Cairo, Egypt.

Meanwhile, CAF President, Patrice Motsepe who is running unopposed will oversee the congress with notable personalities like Tanzania’s Wallace John Karia, Liberia’s Mustapha Raji, and Algeria’s Sadi Walid all vying for key positions.
