NPP Election Review Committee to visit Western Region on Tuesday

The Election Review Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has scheduled to visit the Western Region to engage stakeholders on the performance of the party in the 2024 general elections.

The Western Region regarded as one of the strongholds of the NPP produced a shocking result in the 2024 elections as the party took only two parliamentary seats out of seventeen.

However, as part of strategizing for the next general elections, the NPP has formed an Election Review Committee to undertake a comprehensive and inclusive review of the party’s performance in the last year’s election. The objective of the committee is to gather diverse perspectives, address challenges encountered during the elections, and develop strategies to enhance the party’s growth and success in future elections.

The Committee will visit the Western Region to engage key stakeholders from Tuesday, January 28, 2025 to Saturday, February 1, 2025.

The Committee will meet the following stakeholders in the constituencies at a convenient venue to be chosen by the Constituency Executive Committee. They are:

  1. All Constituency Executive Officers
  2. Member of Parliaments
  3. All former Constituency Executive Officers
  4. All former Parliamentarians
  5. All former MDCEs
  6. Parliamentary Candidates in the 2024 Elections
  7. Aspiring Parliamentary Candidates
  8. All Council of Elders
  9. Patrons
  10. Key opinion leaders in the constituencies
  11. ⁠Leaders of Identifiable Groups
  12. ⁠Electoral Area Coordinators within the Constituency Capital and its environs
  13. ⁠Polling Station Chairmen within the Constituency Capital and its environs
  14. Assembly members of the party
  15. Former NPP Assembly Members
  16. Selected Polling Station Executives, former Electoral Area Coordinators and former Polling Station Executives
  17. ⁠All 2024 Constituency Campaign Team Members
  18. ⁠All Constituency Campaign Influencers and Workers
