Deputy Western Regional Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress, Ebenezer Essien, says he strongly believes President John Mahama will deliver on his promises to Ghanaians.
According to him, the victory given to the NDC is a testament to the confidence posed in the President, and that Ghanaians did no mistake in voting for the NDC.
In an interview on Spice FM Adzekyee Mu Nsem with Obeng Darko, Mr. Essien recounted how President Mahama had set his governance in motion on the right footing by tackling challenges in the energy sector and also bringing economic relief to citizens.
He advised appointees and would-be appointees to be servant-leaders and eschew self-centeredness but to work hard to fulfil the promises made to Ghanaians.
Commenting on the vandalism of former President Akuffo Addo’s statue in Sekondi last Sunday, Mr. Ebenezer Essien stated that the statue should not have been erected in the first place, saying he feels indifferent about the development.
He debunked rumours that NDC doesn’t have any hand in the damages made to the statue.
