President Mahama appoints Justina Nelson as acting CEO of Minerals Income and Investment Fund
Ghana’s President, John Dramani Mahama, has appointed Ms. Justina Nelson as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Minerals Income and Investment Fund (MIIF).
This appointment is made in accordance with Article 195(1) of the Constitution and Section 21(2) of the MIIF Act, 2018 (Act 978). The announcement was made on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, through a statement issued by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Acting Spokesperson to the President.
Ms. Nelson brings over 20 years of experience in the banking industry. She currently serves as the Group Head at Zenith Bank Ghana, where she oversees the Energy and Commercial Banking sectors.
A highly accomplished professional, Ms. Nelson holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate and Commercial Law and an MBA in Marketing, both from the University of Ghana.
Additionally, she earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Management and Psychology from the University of Ghana.
Her wealth of expertise is expected to provide strategic leadership in advancing the operations of the MIIF.
