The NDC will fulfill all of its campaign promises – Western North Regional Chairman

Michael Aidoo, the Western North Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed strong confidence in President John Dramani Mahama’s capacity to deliver on all of his campaign promises.

Michael Aidoo emphasized that President Mahama and the NDC view their campaign message as a social contract with the people of Ghana, and the party is fully committed to implementing all the policies promised.

Michael Aidoo is highly enthusiastic about the 24-hour economy policy, viewing it as a key driver for creating job opportunities for young people.

He emphasized that unemployment continues to be a major challenge for governments, and that the 24-hour economy initiative is an important step in tackling this problem.

Some of the key policies that Mr. Aidoo assured will be implemented include:

  • Free Tuition Fee: For first-year tertiary students, aimed at promoting education and reducing financial burdens on families.
  • Establishment of Women Development Bank: To support women’s economic empowerment and provide access to financial resources.
  • Cancellation of E-Levy and Betting Tax: To alleviate the financial burden on citizens and promote economic growth.
