President John Dramani Mahama has announced his first round of ministerial nominations.
In a letter delivered to the Speaker of Parliament today, the President informed the House of his nomination of Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, the Majority Leader, as the Minister for Finance-designate.
Additionally, John Abdulai Jinapor has been nominated for the role of Minister for Energy, and Dominic Ayine has been nominated for the position of Attorney General and Minister for Justice.

Following the constitution of its appointment committee just yesterday, the House is expected to promptly vet the nominees and decide whether to approve or reject their appointments.
