NDC’s Member of Parliament-elect for the Kwesimintsim Constituency, Lawyer Philip Buckman, says corporate planning is the first significant change constituents should expect under his leadership.
Lawyer Buckman believes his initiative can be a game changer for the people of Kwesimintsim in terms of finding lasting solutions to problems in the Constituency.
In an interview on the Western Echo Show, Lawyer Philip Buckman mentioned that he believes in building synergies between leadership and the people for a common good.
“We know you have job and flooding problems. If you go to the markets, we have under-patronage problems.
You go to Anaji fie; we have these problems. So we have identified them now that we have had it. I was telling them that if I come, we are going to solve it. Then that was what I always told them—that when I come, I will not do it. We are all going to do it,”
Lawyer Buckman again said, “And that is what the youth bought into it. You, as the MP, as our leader, push this button. We as the people, are also going to do this.
That’s why you say corporate planning. So all of us decide that this was what we were going to do. And every good leader, when he’s coming out with a policy, he shouldn’t come out with like, ‘I am the leader,’ so I want you to do this: “
Every good policy is that policy which all component units contribute to it.”
