Akufo-Addo endorses Dr. Bawumia as a strong candidate for Ghana’s presidency

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed confidence in Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s readiness to lead Ghana as its next president.

During a meeting with members of Organised Labour on December 3, President Akufo-Addo stated that Bawumia’s extensive experience, spanning eight years in opposition and eight years in government, has equipped him with the knowledge and skills required to steer the nation forward.

Highlighting Bawumia’s tenure as a former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, the president noted his appeal to voters to consider the vice president for continuity in progress and development in the upcoming elections.
