Starting December 3, 2024, air travelers will benefit from direct flights between London Gatwick and Kumasi Prempeh I International Airport through a collaboration between Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) and Ethiopian Airlines.
This new service strengthens travel options between Europe and Ghana’s Ashanti Region, a vital cultural and economic hub. It also represents a significant boost to Ghana’s aviation and tourism industries, offering improved connectivity just in time for the festive season.
The inaugural flight from Kumasi is scheduled for December 15, 2024, catering to travelers visiting the Ashanti Region during Christmas.
