President set to cut sod for new hospital, Western Regional Minister hints

President Akuffo Addo is expected to cut the sod for the newly constructed hospital in Bokoro of the Ahanta West Municipality.

The facility is part of the government’s Agenda 111 initiative to build new hospitals nationwide.

Regional Minister Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah mentioned this during the commissioning of the oil and gas terminal at the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority.

He furthered that the infrastructural development witnessed in the country, led by the government, is a testament to fulfilling the pledges made to the people of the Western Region to foster sustainable development.

” This oil and gas project represents a significant step in our nation’s development journey, let us celebrate this achievement and continue to work together towards a brighter future for our region

“On this note, I once again use this opportunity to thank the president for always having an eye for the Western region. Mr. President, this is not your last commissioning in the region. On the 28th, we expect you to come back to deliver the commissioning of the first Agenda 111 hospital in Ghana, and we believe your visit will be remembered. Indeed, the Western region will always remember you for giving us a fair share of the national cake.”
