Ghana Trade Fair Centre to revolutionize creative arts and tourism with 20,000-seat facility
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has lauded the Ghana Trade Fair Convention and Exhibition Centre as a transformative project for the creative arts and tourism sectors.
The ongoing development includes a 20,000-seat capacity hall and a 5,000-square-meter pre-event lobby, set to address challenges in event hosting and seating limitations.
Touring the site on November 25, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the project’s potential to lower event costs, increase revenue for artists, and boost Ghana’s competitiveness in hosting large-scale exhibitions and conferences.
The initiative, led by the Ghana Trade Fair Company Limited, is expected to be completed within eight months.
CEO Dr. Agnes Adu confirmed the project is progressing rapidly, with completion anticipated between six to eight months.
