Bawumia stresses need for modern land administration at new Lands Commission office launch
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has emphasized the importance of an efficient land administration system for Ghana’s economic growth, social harmony, and investment potential.
Speaking at the inauguration of the new Lands Commission Head Office in Accra on November 25, he outlined the critical challenges addressed by the new facility, including dependency on manual records, inefficient file movement, and congestion.
Dr. Bawumia reaffirmed the government’s focus on building a robust land administration system anchored on three pillars: modern infrastructure, digitalization, and process automation.
He highlighted the new building as a testament to the government’s commitment to transparent and customer-focused land management, equipped with cutting-edge facilities to foster efficiency and transparency in land administration.
