Liberal Party Of Ghana Poised To Break The Duopoly In Western Region

The Liberal Party of Ghana is aiming to challenge the dominance of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Western Region in the upcoming 2024 General Elections on December 7.

With 53 days left until the elections, 13 presidential candidates and their parliamentary candidates are actively campaigning across the country.

The Western Regional Coordinator for the Liberal Party of Ghana, Mr. Anku Adolph Alvin Etornam, expressed confidence in their parliamentary candidates’ preparedness for victory. He emphasized that the candidates have been equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively serve their constituents.

Mr. Anku Adolph Alvin Etornam highlighted the party’s focus on inclusive governance, economic development, and social justice, asserting that these principles have resonated with the electorate. He expressed optimism about the positive impact their candidates will have on their communities.

Additionally, Mr. Etornam stated that their presidential candidate, Mr. Kofi Akpaloo, is poised to win the general election. He cited Mr. Akpaloo’s vision for a united Ghana, plans for economic growth, and commitment to social justice as factors that have captured the imagination of Ghanaians nationwide.

The Liberal Party of Ghana aims to break the duopoly and usher in a new era of governance that prioritizes the people.

Mr. Etornam expressed confidence in the party’s stronghold in the Western Region, indicating their readiness to continue this trend in the 2024 elections.
