Police restore order after violent clashes between NPP and NDC supporters in Mamobi
The Ghana Police Service has successfully restored order in Mamobi, a suburb of Accra, following violent clashes between supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The altercation, which escalated into violence, left nine individuals injured and heightened tensions in the area.
Swift intervention by the police brought the situation under control, and efforts are now underway to apprehend those responsible for the unrest.
A statement from the police on social media confirmed that the perpetrators have been identified, and legal actions are being pursued to ensure they face justice.

NPP-NDC DISTURBANCES AT MOMOBI: POLICE RESTORE CALM AND ON MANHUNT TO ARREST PERPETRATORS
The Ghana Police Service has restored calm at Mamobi, a suburb of Accra, following disturbances between supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the area that resulted in the injuries of nine persons.
Seven of the injured victims have been treated and discharged while two are still receiving treatment at the hospital.
Meanwhile, an intelligence-led operation is currently ongoing to get the perpetrators who have been identified by the Police arrested to face justice.
