President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed strong confidence in Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s bid for the 2024 presidential election, praising both his campaign efforts and track record.
In an interview with France24, Akufo-Addo highlighted Bawumia’s resonating message, particularly among the youth, and credited his achievements in areas like education, healthcare, road infrastructure, and the digital economy during the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s nearly eight years in office.
He stressed that despite economic challenges, the administration’s reforms provide a solid foundation for Bawumia’s campaign.
Akufo-Addo also commended Bawumia’s innovative ideas, particularly those focused on engaging young people in national development, and expressed optimism about his chances in the upcoming election.
