President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has called on residents of the Upper East Region to strongly back the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the upcoming December elections.

He highlighted Dr. Bawumia as a symbol of hope for many Ghanaians ahead of the polls.

During his one-day tour of the region, the President addressed the Chiefs and elders, urging them to vote for the NPP by selecting the first spot on the ballot.

He emphasized the importance of continuity, urging the electorate to choose a candidate who would further the progress and development initiated by his administration.

Akufo-Addo reaffirmed his support for Bawumia, encouraging voters to keep the momentum going by casting their votes for the party’s symbol, the elephant, in the number one position on the ballot.
