
NPP Presidential Candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has launched his campaign tour in the Western Region as the December 7 elections approach, sharing a message of hope and innovative ideas to build on past successes.
During meetings in Mporhor, Wassa, and Jomoro Constituencies, he outlined plans to reform the small-scale mining sector’s licensing to enhance job creation. His visit began with a courtesy call to Osabarima Kwaw Entsie, the Paramount Chief of Mpohor, who praised Bawumia’s impactful policies.
The campaign team held a community forum focusing on mining issues, where George Mireku Duker emphasized support for responsible mining under the Community Mining Scheme.

Bawumia also engaged with constituents in Doboase and Amenfi East, presenting fresh policies aimed at improving Ghanaians’ lives and encouraging support for himself and NPP candidates in the upcoming elections.
