On the first day of the phase two tour of the Western Region, the NDC’s running mate, Prof. Naana Opoku Agyemang met with students of Esiama Nursing and Midwifery Training College and assured them of the NDC’s policies to improve health institutions.
Prof. Opoku Agyemang advised the students to be wary of deceptive political promises, which could undermine their future.
She said the party plans to introduce advanced nursing programs and maintains allowances for trainee nurses whilst offering additional funding options, including student loans.
She urged them to choose progress by voting for the NDC’s Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama in the December 7 elections to continue the good work in the health sector.
Prof. Agyemang stated that the NDC’s vision for the youth goes beyond mere promises.
Member of Parliament for Ellembele, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, urged nursing trainees to prioritize permanent employment over temporary allowances and to vote massively for John Mahama.
He promised to provide internet access to the campus.
