The Ministry of Finance says it has made the necessary arrangements to pay off the outstanding claims agreed with Trafigura after several rounds of negotiations.
A statement issued by the Ministry stressed the government’s commitment to honouring its obligations under the settlement agreement with Trafigura to help bring the matter to closure.
The Ministry of Finance, therefore, expressed concern about documents on social media regarding its engagements with Trafigura.
The Ministry said the documents create an impression of the government’s inaction on a yet-to-be executors settlement agreement.
