“It is impossible to digitalize without industrialization” -Nana Kwame Bediako

Nana Kwame Bediako, has emphasized that industrialization is a critical precursor to digitalization in Ghana’s development strategy.

Nana Kwame Bediako, widely known as Cheddar and leader of the New Force Movement, has emphasized that industrialization is a critical precursor to digitalization in Ghana’s development strategy.

Speaking at the launch of the New Force Movement’s 12 pillars for economic freedom in Accra on Sunday, Cheddar asserted that economic progress hinges on industrialization, which enhances productivity, mass production, and improves living standards.

“It is impossible to digitalize without industrialization… No industrialization, no digitalization,” Cheddar declared.

As part of his broader vision for Ghana, Nana Kwame Bediako, who has expressed presidential ambitions, outlined a plan to attract $50 billion in investments from the African diaspora and people of African descent. He proposed a grand initiative dubbed “Ghana’s first $50 billion,” aimed at fostering “African unification,” starting with Ghana.

“We [Ghana] will be the first people to start the project USA – United States of Africa, by people joining us [Ghana] and we welcoming them through our borders but also, they will also be investing on our land.”

Cheddar’s strategy includes granting Ghanaian citizenship and passports to Africans and those of African descent in the diaspora, contingent on their investment in the country, as part of his vision to lay the groundwork for the “United States of Africa.”
