PNC Reschedules National Delegates Congress to September 7 for the Second Time

The People’s National Convention (PNC) has rescheduled its national delegates congress to Saturday, September 7, marking the second change in date.

Originally set for August 24 and then moved to August 31, this latest shift follows a meeting held on August 30 in Accra.

The congress is pivotal, as it will elect the party’s national executives and choose the flagbearer for the December 7 elections.

Acting General Secretary Prince Agyemang Duah emphasized that the rescheduling is crucial for adequately preparing for the upcoming Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

The vetting process for all aspirants concluded on August 23, with only one candidate being disqualified.
