Bawumia highlights success of Free SHS policy during ‘It Is Possible’ campaign tour
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has underscored the importance of the free senior high school (SHS) policy, emphasizing its positive impact on Ghanaians.
As part of his ‘It Is Possible’ campaign, Dr. Bawumia visited the Bono East Region on Tuesday, where he engaged with chiefs, stakeholders, and citizens to rally support for the 2024 general elections.
During his campaign, Dr. Bawumia praised the NPP government’s successful implementation of the free SHS policy, highlighting the widespread benefits it has provided to many Ghanaians.
He pointed out that the initiative fulfilled the party’s promise despite opposition from John Mahama, stating that the NPP deserves recognition for its efforts.
Continuing his campaign in the Eastern Region, Dr. Bawumia visited the Abetifi and Mpraeso constituencies.
The paramount chiefs of Mpraeso commended his leadership, urging Ghanaians to disregard negative labels associated with him by opposition forces.
They acknowledged his contributions to Ghana’s progress, noting the country’s strong global rankings in various sectors due to his efforts.
