Seth Terkper confident in Mahama and NDC’s ability to transform Ghana in four years
Former Finance Minister Seth Terkper has expressed his confidence in John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to significantly transform Ghana within a four-year term if they win the upcoming December 7 elections.
Seth Terkper emphasized the NDC’s proven track record in governance, asserting that their past achievements demonstrate their capability.
Speaking to journalists in Accra on Tuesday, August 27, Terkper praised Mahama‘s leadership qualities, affirming that he has what it takes to improve Ghana’s fortunes.
He also defended the NDC’s governance record, inviting scrutiny of their fiscal management and overall performance, which he claimed speaks for itself.
“NDC record in office was made clear. If there are any aspects you doubt, we can talk about it. From fiscal management you know where we ended the year with 6.1, forget about 9.3, 10.3. It was a lie and we challenged it.
“The IMF corrected it and we showed you the deficit the debt fiscal performance so I am saying the manifesto is based on performance.”
