Asiedu Nketiah urges Ghanaians to reject Bawumia and NPP for unfulfilled 2020 manifesto promises
Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on Ghanaians to reject Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming elections, citing their failure to deliver on promises made in their 2020 manifesto.
Asiedu Nketiah criticized Dr. Bawumia, describing him as a “serial liar” with nothing new to offer Ghanaians after what he termed as the government’s poor performance in managing the country’s resources.
During an address at Mamfe in the Akuapem North Constituency, on the first day of his regional tour, Asiedu Nketiah questioned Dr. Bawumia’s ability to fulfil his manifesto promises, accusing him of using falsehoods to gain power.
He pointed out that Bawumia had promised to replace motorcycles with vehicles for motor riders but failed to deliver on this and other promises from the 2020 manifesto.
Asiedu Nketiah urged voters to reject Bawumia and the NPP in the 2024 general elections, asserting that he will not keep his promises.
