Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) running mate for the 2024 elections, has affirmed his confidence in the integrity and leadership of the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
During the NPP’s 2024 manifesto launch in Takoradi, Dr. Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO, commended Bawumia as a leader free from corruption, committed to building on the achievements of the Akufo-Addo administration.
NAPO assured Ghanaians that under Dr. Bawumia’s leadership, transparency and accountability would be central to his administration.
He emphasized that Bawumia’s vision for a prosperous Ghana aligns with the interests of the people, promising that the nation’s resources would be managed judiciously.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh, reflecting on his extensive experience working with Dr. Bawumia, expressed his dedication to supporting Bawumia’s vision, characterizing him as a man of vision, humility, firmness, and integrity.
He also highlighted Bawumia’s strong work ethic and problem-solving abilities, which he believes will drive Ghana to greater heights.
He concluded by reassuring the public that Bawumia has never been involved in corruption and is well-prepared to lead the nation with honour and dedication.
