Mahama to establish annual national day of prayer and thanksgiving, if elected

Former President and NDC Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has committed to instituting an annual National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving, aimed at bringing together all religious faiths in a unified act of gratitude and seeking divine guidance for Ghana.

In a statement released by his Campaign Spokesperson, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Mahama highlighted the significance of thanksgiving, drawing on biblical principles and examples from other nations.

He believes that this collective act of prayer and gratitude will help invoke God’s blessings and prosperity for the country, emphasizing the need to recognize and appreciate God’s past interventions to receive more in the future.
