Kennedy Agyapong, Member of Parliament for Assin Central, has urged the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to acknowledge the economic challenges currently facing the country as they prepare for the 2024 General Elections.

Speaking at the launch of the NPP’s election campaign in the Ablekuma South Constituency, Agyapong stressed the importance of unity within the party to secure victory in the December 7 polls.

He advised the party to approach voters with humility, suggesting that admitting to the difficulties Ghanaians are experiencing and apologizing for any mistakes made would be crucial in gaining their trust.

“Let’s go out there with humility, apologise to Ghanaians, and admit your mistakes before you can convince anybody to vote for you. If we ignore the hardships Ghanaians are going through, they will never accept what we are saying.

“You first have to admit that there are hardships, let’s give NPP another chance, and I know we have all learnt our lessons.

“If we overlook the hardships that Ghanaians are enduring, our message will not resonate with them,” Kennedy Agyapong stated. He further emphasized the need to support NPP flagbearer Dr. Bawumia, noting, “We all need to come together to ensure his success.”
