President Akufo-Addo appoints new boards for GBC and other state media outlets

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed new boards for the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) and three other state media institutions.

These appointments were made in line with the provisions of Article 168 of the Constitution and Section 2(1)(e) of the National Media Commission Act, 1993 (Act 449).

In addition to GBC, the new boards will oversee the operations of the New Times Corporation, Ghana News Agency, and Graphic Communications Group Limited. The full list of appointees for each respective media outlet has been made public.
