The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced plans to launch its manifesto in the Central Region in August.

The manifesto will outline the party’s policy blueprint for implementation if it wins the December 7 elections.

During the campaign launch in Tamale, NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama pledged to establish a women’s development bank to support the growth of women’s businesses.

He also vowed to abolish the double-track system, enabling all Senior High School (SHS) students to attend school simultaneously.

Mahama further committed to eliminating “schools under trees” and building hostels on tertiary school lands to ensure student safety and convenience.

These initiatives aim to enhance the educational environment and support economic growth through improved access and infrastructure.
