The Western Regional Public Relations Officer of the Forestry Commission Mr. Richard Adjei Binefoh, revealed that they gathered intelligence about the activities of the illegal miners in the Subri forest and acted accordingly.

He explained that, upon gathering intelligence, they quickly organized and laid ambush on the illegal miners leading to the arrest of four individuals.
