Asiedu Nketiah explains the NDC’s revised campaign tactics, emphasizing a door-to-door strategy.

Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has unveiled plans for a new campaign strategy ahead of the December elections.

Instead of holding large rallies, the NDC plans to prioritize door-to-door and direct engagement with voters.

The party is scheduled to commence its campaign in Tamale on Saturday, July 27, 2024.

Speaking to the media, Asiedu Nketiah underscored the significance of engaging directly with the electorate.

“We aim to conduct a house-to-house, retail campaign, prioritizing direct interactions with the people,” he said. “Our event in Tamale will serve as a reminder that this year’s campaign will be different. We need to engage with people on a personal level.”

Asiedu Nketiah also highlighted the cost-effectiveness of this approach, pointing out that it is cheaper for party members to visit villagers in their homes than to gather them at a central location.
