KIA’s IT systems remain unaffected — GACL

The management of Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has reassured the public that the IT systems at Kotoka International Airport are fully operational.

In a statement, the Airport Company informed travelers that it was aware of the ongoing global IT outage impacting airports and airlines globally.

However, due to the global nature of the issue, delays and interruptions in flights may occur from affected countries, potentially affecting operations in Accra to a limited extent.

“So far, out of our 24 International airlines operating at KIA, only one has had to cancel some of its scheduled flights,” it added.

The statement confirmed that all other operations were running smoothly and on schedule as usual.

Management will closely monitor the situation and provide updates to travelers as needed.
